I decided to create a family tree, feel free to send me family information so I can make it as extensive as possible.
FAMILY TREE
The 1901 census shows the family including our grandfather John, our great-grandfather was also named John and our Great Great Grandfather was also John.
Our Great Great Grand Father John lived in Adarragh, Killashandra in Cavan,
Our Grandfathers family was as follows:
Mary (Masie) age: 93 no children
John ( deceased in 2008) 1 son Gerard
Peggy (Margaret) age: 87 no children
Bridie (deceased in 1969) 1 child Margaret(Brady)
Eugene( my father) aged: 85 4 children, Margaret( Farrelly), Imelda (Daniels), Paul, Caroline (Behan)
Tommy aged: 83, 2 children, Sharon, John.
Maisie, the eldest is married to Larry Dunne and they have no family. They live in Tullamore and Masie is 93 and still in good health.
John (Deceased) was living in family home in Aughnacreevey, this is where my grandfather lived, he was married to Mary-Kate and their son Gerard is single. The old house is still standing though now empty as they built a new house on the land.
Peggy is now living in Drumgoe, Killashandra and has her step-son John living on the same farm and Margaret living in Cavan, Peggy married Willie McClean, Peggy has 6 grand children
Bridie, was married to Willie McLean, she died when her daughter Margaret was 3 months old.
Tommy, is 83 and lives in Wexford, his wife Kitty died in 2011, they have two children Sharon, she is married and lives in England. John is married and lives in Germany and has two children.
Eugene, is my father and he was married to Margaret, she died in 2004, he lives in Celbridge and has done so since he returned from New York in 1966. He has 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. His family is as follows:
Margaret, married to Tom Farrelly, they have three children.
Eugene married to Sue and have 1 child and one on the way living in Dublin,
Gwen married to Serge Shea, living in New York, they are expecting their first child next month.,
Nigel he is single and living in Leixlip in Kildare.
Imelda, married to Gerry Daniels, they have 3 children and live in Clane in Kildare.
Yvonne is married to Sven Nasser, they have 2 children and live in Wurtzberg in Germany.
Greg married to Rachel; they have two children and live in Clane in Kildare.
Ray, is single and lives in Canada.
Paul, married to Celia, have 3 children and live in Celbridge in Kildare.
Janet is married to Tómas Murphy and have two children, living in Celbridge in Kildare.
Lynn has 1 child , living in Clane.
Naoimi is single and living at home.
Caroline, is married to John Behan and they live in the home place in Celbridge.
Great-grandparents, Catherine (nee Keating), John Gillis, he died age 46 from cancer and Catherine died age 68. Our family is documented back as far as 1468 and in all generations the eldest son was named John.

As with any Census there may be some names not recorded, as in both Susan is missing also in 1911 Kate is missing, she was 2 years old but we are not sure about her parents, Susan, Mary, Patrick and Katie moved to New York
